TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr Saleh Gharaie’s teaching integrates engineering fundamentals, computational methods, design thinking, sustainability, and industry-oriented professional skills. His teaching approach emphasises the development of graduates who can connect strong technical knowledge with communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and sustainability capabilities. He has taught across the engineering curriculum, including Design Fundamentals, Sustainable Design, Materials Engineering Project, Engineering Leadership, Engineering Sustainability, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Thermo-Fluid Systems, and Computational Fluid Dynamics, and has also contributed as an assessment panel member. Across these units, he aims to help students progress from core engineering principles to advanced modelling, analysis, and design, preparing them to address complex engineering challenges in industry and society.
