BIO

Dr Nichole (Nic) Lister is an experienced educator, scientist (clinical/pathology and research), public health researcher, and project administrator/coordinator. Nic has held various positions in clinical and teaching teams with work spanning the implementation of programs and interventions (various), and program evaluation. Nic is also a published researcher, and the impact of her research achievements in public health has been recognised through conference presentations and awards. Nic holds qualifications in education and has more than 20 years teaching/training experience across TAFE, industry training for professionals, secondary schools and science/STEM programs. Nic holds a significant record of industry experience in health and the medical science sector, and experience working as a first responder with specialist training in violence, youth and vulnerable communities. Nic is a descendant of Wonnarua people in the Hunter Valley area of NSW, and she has supported Indigenous health research projects at Deakin University over the past 6 years.
