BIO

I am an emerging research leader in environmental cognitive neuroscience, currently supported by a Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. My research focuses on whether we can improve brain functioning and mental health through built environment design.

I have secured approximately $745,000.00 AUD in consecutive Fellowship funding, and $43,000.00 as sole or CIA in grants and awards, including international and industry funding. Most recently, my contributions have been recognised through the Emerging Researcher Award from the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society, and as a finalist of the NOMIS & Science Young Explorer Award.

Externally, I am currently an editorial board member for Brain and Environment, and a committee member for the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society. Previously, I have also been on the Forum Executive for the Australian Academy of Science EMCR Forum, Steering Committee for the Australian Brain Alliance EMCR Network, served as Chief of Staff for Pint of Science Australia, and President for Students of Brain Research.
