BIO

Geoff Boucher currently researches

(1) the authoritarian personality from the perspective of critical theory, especially in relation to literature and culture;

(2) AI in the creative industries and the cultural field, especially in relation to language and literature.

He is an expert on Frankfurt School Critical Theory, Marxism and Psychoanalysis, Zizek and Lacan. His most recent books are Critical Theory and the Authoritarian Personality (2025) and Habermas and Literature (2021).
