ProfessorChing-Jen Sun

I am a Professor of Economics at Deakin Business School. My current research focuses on bargaining theory, game theory, and industrial organization. In bargaining theory, I examine the rationality foundations and distributive justice principles of prominent solution concepts such as the Nash bargaining solution and the Kalai-Smorodinsky solution. In industrial organization, my work covers two main areas: competition and the dynamics of market prices, and multidimensional managerial incentive contracts. Additionally, I am interested in characterizing strategic situations with well-defined mathematical structures in their sets of Nash equilibria. My research has been published in leading economic theory journals, including Games and Economic Behavior, International Economic Review, Social Choice and Welfare, Journal of Mathematical Economics, and International Journal of Game Theory.
