BIO

My research is centred on age-related and metabolic conditions that affect physical function and quality of life, with a particular focus on sarcopenia, osteoporosis, obesity, and the gut microbiome. I am especially interested in how these factors interact to influence musculoskeletal health in older adults, including declines in muscle mass, bone strength, and functional capacity associated with ageing.
