DrPeter Vuong

Peter Vuong is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting in Deakin Business School. Peter graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science with majors in Finance (Honours, first class), Accounting and Mathematical modelling. Peter worked in the Banking sector briefly before moving on to completing his PhD in Banking and Finance at Monash University (2021). Peter's research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, Fintech, financial contagion and systemic risk. His current research interest involves examining the cost of social responsibility, financial resilience and wellbeing, and climate change adaptability.

Currently, Peter serves on the University Academic Board and is the Director of Education for Deakin's Integrated Reporting Centre.
