BIO

I am an archaeologist and critical heritage scholar with over a decade of academic and professional experience working in Sri Lanka and Australia. My research examines the relationship between difficult heritage, local communities and cultural resilience. I am an International Member of ICOMOS and Co-Chair of the Sri Lanka ICOMOS National Scientific Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage. I co-edited the Routledge Handbook of Heritage Destruction (2023).
