BIO

Dr Kirsten Howlett is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Exercise and
Nutrition Sciences. She actively participates in undergraduate teaching
programs in physiology, and supervisors higher degree research students. Dr
Howlett is a member of the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition
(I-PAN) and her research program is focused on understanding the physiological
and cellular responses to exercise with the aim of providing insight into the
maintenance of health, and prevention and treatment of disease.
