BIO
I am an experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist specialising in pediatric neuropsychology and neurodevelopment. With over two decades of experience, I am currently engaged in part-time roles at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Deakin University, Murdoch Children's Research Institite and hold an honorary professorial role at Aston University, UK. My academic qualifications, including a Master of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) and a PhD in Psychology from The University of Melbourne, underpin my clinical and research expertise.
As a Professor at Deakin University, I lead innovative research initiatives and support the development of future scholars through mentorship and academic leadership. My role as Academic Lead for the Deakin-Aston PhD Cotutelle program further exemplifies my commitment to fostering the growth of colleagues and their careers.
At the Royal Children’s Hospital, I co-lead the Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow-up program and co-chair the Research Domain in Neonatal Medicine, contributing to cutting-edge research and clinical advancements.
I also serve on the Research Assessment Panel for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, UK, and I co-chair their new Lift Off grant scheme, focusing on patient-centered research initiatives. This role allows me to contribute internationally to impactful research that directly benefits children and their families.
I am a member of the Epilepsy Research Institute (UK) Capacity Building Taskforce and a member of the Mental Health Working Group for HeartKids Australia.
