DrBronwyn Sutton

My research explores affective and embodied dimensions of learning and leadership, with a focus on place-conscious pedagogies and methodologies and relational inquiry. I am particularly interested in inclusive approaches that value diversity and prioritise collective wellbeing. I work from a posthumanist understanding of relationality, taking the position that humans are part of, not separate from, place, nature and Country and that we have ethical responsibilities as kin to decolonise knowledges and practices. I have been involved in a range of collaborative and cooperative research projects focused on regenerative practices, transformative learning, public pedagogies of sustainability and climate change, and cultivating community and cultural change within higher education.
