RESEARCH INTERESTS
Jonathan is currently affiliated with the Networking and Telecommunications & Cyber-Physical Systems Research Lab within the School of Information Technology, and he co-leads the “Next-generation IoT communications infrastructure, analytics and intelligence” research program at Deakin.
His research interests are in the broad areas of telecommunications and data networking, including:
- Data transport protocols, TCP congestion control and active queue management
- Adaptive multimedia streaming and content delivery
- Low-latency networking for the Internet and (Industrial) Internet of Things towards Industry 4.0
- Artificial Intelligence and machine learning for networking
- Software engineering for real-time cyber-physical systems
- Communication, computing, and control co-design in Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)
