BIO
Dr Vidanka Vasilevski is a Senior Research Fellow in the Deakin University Centre for Quality and Patient Safety Research, Institute for Health Transformation and Western Health Partnership. Her current work is focussed on enhancing maternity service delivery and improving the maternity outcomes of pregnant women and their babies, with a specific interest in socially disadvantaged populations. With a background in neuropsychology and experience across various health disciplines, her research has a strong interdisciplinary focus and engages a range of methodological approaches that put consumers at the centre. Vidanka’s research on maternity service improvement has led to actioned changes in the delivery of care in maternity settings at local and national levels.
