BIO
Prof Caeyenberghs completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2010 at the KU Leuven and experienced a 1-year career disruption (equivalent research experience 13 years). Prof Caeyenberghs currently leads the Neuroplasticity and Multimodal Imaging (NMI) Lab in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. Prof Caeyenberghs is leading expert in the field of structural neuroimaging in TBI with exceptional outputs relative to opportunity. She has a h-index of 42 and a total of 5,252 citations from 156 publications (Sc). Of her publications, 45 are ranked in the top 10% most cited worldwide. Her research contribution and impact have been recognised by several prestigious fellowships, including 2 from the Research Foundation Flanders, an NHMRC CDF (2018-2021), and an inaugural Veski Fellowship (2022-2023). She has received > $6.2 million in national and international research funding.
