Current major projects:

1. Shoulder Biomarker Studies (AdCaB, CUBA, ShOA)
a. Investigating gene expression and clinical biomarkers in people with adhesive capsulitis, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears and osteoarthritis

2. Injuries in Australian Football and netball players
a. Investigating injuries and their consequences in female footballers in South West Victoria
b. Investigating injuries in netball players in South West Victoria

3. RAPSODI study
a. International randomised study comparing anatomical and reverse total shoulder replacement

4. Embolisation for musculoskeletal condidtions
a. Investigating the effects of micro-embolisation for knee osteoarthritis and other chronic musculoskeletal conditions

5. Barwon Joint Registry (BJR)
a. Routine surveillance of patients before and after joint replacement surgery at St John of God Hospital Geelong and Barwon Health Geelong.

 

6. Shoulder dislocations

a. Investigating risk factors for primary and recurrent shoulder dislocation
