My research focuses on advanced materials, protective technologies, and sustainable solutions, with expertise in:
- Sustainable textiles, circular economy, and textile recycling
- Motorcycle protective clothing and sports protection systems
- Impact protection materials and performance evaluation
- Ceramic composite materials for dental applications
- Polymer nanocomposites and functional materials
- Self-assembled nanostructures and advanced materials design
- Advanced materials characterisation, including synchrotron techniques (e.g. SAXS)
- Membrane technologies for filtration and separation, particularly lyotropic liquid crystalline (LLC) porous membranes
