TEACHING EXPERTISE

I teach and supervise in the areas of gender studies, sexuality studies, cultural studies, race & ethnic studies, and research methods.

At Deakin I have previously chaired the following units:

Supervision Enquiries

I currently have space for 1 PhD by research student beginning in 2026. Excellent students with training in gender and cultural studies are invited to contact me in 2025 with a proposal engaging these disciplines as well as relevant fields to their project. Intersectional projects will be viewed favourably as will demonstrated understanding of empricial research methods of everyday culture.
