Kirk Reed is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Occupational Science
and Therapy in the School of Health and Social Development at Deakin
University. He is an occupational therapist with over 25 years experience in
the mental health and tertiary education sectors. Previously he worked at
Auckland University of Technology for 18 years and was a Director of the
National Centre for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice and
Chair of an Institutional Research Ethics Committee. His research interests
lie in the intersection of mental health, employment, primary health care, and
occupational justice.
