BIO

Yuen Lam (Fannie) Wu is a senior lecturer in the Department of Management. She completed her PhD in Management (Organizational Behavior) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Fannie adopts a mixed methodological approach to advance knowledge about how individuals from minority backgrounds (e.g., migrant workers, women, individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse background, entrepreneurs) may attain effectiveness, career success, and well-being at work. Her work appears in journals such as Academy of Management Annals and The Leadership Quarterly. She is serving as an editorial board member for Journal of Vocational Behavior. Fannie had success in attracting more than $583,000 competitive research funding with Deakin and external partnering organisations from the public and not-for-profit sectors, including Deakin Co., Research Council of Canada, Alo Enlightened Women Inc., the Australian Government. She is the director of Leadership Futures Hub, a research unit that promotes collaboration between academics and industry leaders for enhancing leadership impact, and also an affiliated member of Deakin CREATE
