BIO
Dr Aron Hill is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Psychology, and
co-lead of the Brain Systems and Neurotherapeutics Lab within the
Cognitive Neuroscience Unit.
Aron's research uses a combination of human electrophysiology and non-
invasive brain stimulation to better understand brain communication and
plasticity in health and disease. A key focus of this work is to advance the
development of robust and reliable brain markers and treatments for
psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Aron obtained his PhD in Neuroscience from Monash University and has
undertaken postdoctoral training at the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research
Centre in Melbourne, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
(University of Toronto) in Canada. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed
scientific articles in the fields of cognitive and clinical neuroscience and
has co-developed open-source software pipelines for processing functional
neuroimaging (EEG) data.
