BIO

Sufian holds a Master's degree in Criminology and Security Studies. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at Deakin University with the research project title: A Network Study of Professional Money Laundering. His research explores the role of professionals, such as lawyers, accountants, and trust and company service providers, in facilitating illicit financial flows. Utilising Social Network Analysis (SNA), his research explores the structural characteristics and operational dynamics of professional money laundering networks in Australia.
