BIO

I had worked as a university lecturer in China for over 10 years before I started my PhD studies at Deakin University in Australia. My PhD research explored Chinese university students' intercultural English learning experiences in Sino-Australian programs. I am now a lecturer in TESOL at Deakin University, Melbourne. Due to my prior work and educational experiences, I am particularly interested in the internationalisation of education, intercultural communication, effective language teaching and learning, and identity.
