Surjasama Lahiri

Dr Surjasama Lahiri is a Teaching Fellow in the Management discipline group at Deakin University. He has over four years of experience delivering quantitative and qualitative units. In the process, he has managed digital and hybrid learning environments for large cohorts, complementing them with instructional innovation, student consultations, and proactive engagement roles -- all of which has earned him the Teaching Excellence Award in 2025. 

 

In addition to their teaching accomplishments, Surja has a strong research background. He held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Paris Dauphine University in France, specializing in digital economics. He has published his research in peer-reviewed journalsand his main research interests lie in the areas of applied microeconomics, policy analysis, digital economics and industrial organization.

 

Surja also brings in experience coordinating academic working groups, also having contributed to organization and charing at the Institutional and Organizational Economics Academy 2023 (Corsica). Complementing his academic background, Surja also has stints working in the industry.
