BIO

Yves Sprumont received a Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Tech in 1990 and taught at the University of Montreal from 1990 to 2020.
He is a fellow of the Econometric Society, the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, and the Game Theory Society. He received the John Rae Prize of the Canadian Economic Association in 2012 and the Marcel Dagenais Prize of the Societe Canadienne de Science Economique in 2015.  He wrote over 60 peer-reviewed articles, served as an associate editor of Games and Economic Behavior, Social Choice and Welfare, Mathematical Social Sciences, Theoretical Economics, and is currently on the editorial board of Econometrica and the Journal of Economic Theory.
