BIO
Christine is a Registered Public Health Nutritionist (RPHNutr.) with a real-world focus on obesity prevention, grounded in principles of equity and the development of positive food behaviours in childhood. She has extensive experience in designing and evaluating large-scale health and nutrition programs across the public and corporate sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Christine is also interested in the ethical use of technology to improve public health.
Her research explores contemporary unhealthy food marketing children are exposed to through digital and retail channels. Christine's findings aim to inform policies that will reduce the impact of such marketing, thereby supporting parents in establishing healthy eating behaviours in their children.
