BIO

Hi! I’m researcher and PhD candidate at Deakin University based out of southern Wiradjuri country in Australia. I’m currently researching ecocritical approaches to video games.

My publications include ecocritical examinations of monstrous motherhood in the Resident Evil series and evil rabbits in film.

My most recent publications are “Monstrous Gatekeepers–Eco-gothic Bodies in Video Games” in Monsters and Monstrosity in Media: Reflections on Vulnerability  and “Negotiating Anthropocentrism and Ecologies in Cozy Games” in Replay: Polish Journal of Game Studies.
