BIO
Sylvia is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a joint appointment across Deakin University and Murdoch Children's Research Institute. She is interested in understanding how social environments shape the developing brain and how neurodevelopment contributes to mental health risk and resilience. She hopes to translate this knowledge into neuroscience-informed interventions to promote healthy development.
