MrJesse Velik

Jesse is a graduate of Deakin’s Master of Child Play Therapy course. He operates Therapy Through Play, a private practice based in Melbourne, while also providing consulting work and supervision to organizations around Australia. Jesse’s work explores new dimensions of play-based intervention, drawing from his extensive experience in both psychotherapeutic and creative domains. Alongside his clinical work, Jesse maintains strong ties to the arts community as co-director of On Rye Productions, an award-winning film production company. His ongoing research focuses on advancing FT4C (Filmmaking Therapy for Children) and Video Game Therapy for children, contributing to the development of contemporary therapeutic methodologies that bridge clinical practice with creative expression.
