The Digital Health Research Steering Committee, based in the Faculty of Health, aims to prioritise shared digital infrastructure that enables advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and GenAI, to support high-quality and coordinated research. It focuses on developing governance, capability, and investment models for integrated systems such as secure data platforms, high-performance computing, and AI-enabled environments that avoid duplication and support innovation. The committee also seeks to build workforce capability and strengthen collaboration to ensure AI-driven digital health research can be effectively translated into policy, practice, and real-world impact.
