BIO

I am a Social Worker lecturer and PhD student specialising in neurodiversity (I am neurodivergent). My PhD is exploring the experiences of neurodivergent social workers.

I have 15 years experience working first in child protection and then forced migration, specifically with people seeking asylum in Australia. I have also practiced in the child protection sector in the United Kingdom and in international development in Cambodia.

I work in collaboration with other researchers at Deakin and am keen to broaden my research experience both in neurodivergence and forced migration.
