TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr Yuxin Zhang has supervised and co-supervised research students across health, computer science and engineering. During the assessment period, he supervised or co-supervised 10 research students, including four completions and six current research students. His supervision focuses on developing students’ capability in digital health research, wearable sensing, AI methods, software development, evaluation design, scientific writing and interdisciplinary communication.

 

Dr Zhang has also mentored PhD candidates, research assistants and recent graduates to develop health-research capability from computer science and engineering backgrounds. Student outcomes from his supervision and mentoring include peer-reviewed publications, international conference presentations, collaborative grant applications and successful scholarship outcomes.
