BIO

Jeanette Fyffe is the Pro Vice Chancellor, Researcher Development Academy at Deakin University. Jeanette completed her PhD in theoretical physics before turning towards researcher and academic development. She is a multi-award winning leader in graduate research education.  Her broad research interests lie in higher education, most especially the role of intellectual climate in the formation of scholars, collaborative models of doctoral supervision, and the development of academic judgment. She is actively and collegially studying the “idea of the university”.
