BIO
Dr Adrian Bingham completed his Electrical and Electronic Engineering PhD in 2019, focusing on developing novel techniques for High-Density Surface Electromyography (HD-sEMG) that used entropy as a measure of similarity between signals. For 2.5 years after completing his PhD, he worked at RMIT University on various projects which involved multimodal information fusion, developing autonomous drones with their own radio network, and developing Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar using a Software-Defined Radio (SDR). He then joined A2I2 at Deakin University in early 2022. Initially he worked on developing decision support systems. However, he is now focused on generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and AI in digital health. Since joining Deakin, he was also the technical lead in the setting up of Deakin’s Advanced Tracking and Localization of Animals in real-life System (ATLAS) and currently continues to advise on its maintenance.
