At the nexus of games and creative writing is where you'll find me. My current research explores using the tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) to teach creative writing and promote creative arts participation in regional communities. Of particular interest, is the role that place theory can play in the development of fiction as well as the new perspectives we can gain by role-playing within fictionalised versions of existing places, history, and folklore.
