MrAryana Shahin

Graduate research fellow at Deakin University Business School, and sessional tutor at RMIT university, with a focus on procurement and the integration of sustainability issues into governmental purchasing. My research aims to explore the drivers, barriers, and outcomes of sustainable procurement practices in the governmental bodies of Australia. I teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in various business and management units, such as marketing, business analysis and analytics, and business in society.

Education

Master degree in Entrepreneurship - New Venture from the University of Tehran

Bachelor degree (with honours) in Industrial Management from the University of Isfahan.

Has three years of teaching experience (undergraduate students) overseas. Also has two years of work experience as a research assistant and a project manager overseas, where I collaborated with diverse teams and stakeholders on innovative and impactful projects, such as developing a green supply chain model for a large manufacturing company and conducting a market research for a social enterprise.

Core competencies include critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership, which I apply to my teaching, research, and professional activities. I am passionate about sustainable marketing, advanced manufacturing systems, green supply chains, and social change, and I aim to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in these areas.
