BIO

As a PhD candidate within the Healthy Autistic Life Lab (HALL), my current project combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to explore whether there are specific traits underlying autistic people's practice of consensual non-monogamy, as well as particular motivations and experiences to pursue unconventional relationships.

I'm driven to contribute to work which empowers autistic people to live personally meaningful, healthy lives - reducing societal and environmental barriers to genuine inclusion, acceptance and appreciation, destigmatising autistic traits and preferences, facilitating self-awareness, pride and autonomy.

I specialise in developing surveys which resonate with participants, using thoughtful and accessible research approaches, and asking questions which are informed by listening to the communities we aim to serve. I also collaborate on work which investigates autistic people's experiences of eating disorders, gender, sexuality, relationships and abuse.
