BIO

With a research specialty in Organic & Supramolecular chemistry, Tayla is working on the development of fused [n]polynorbornane based frameworks for application in Host:Guest chemistry and single molecule electronics.

Tayla's relevant experience begins with mixing acetic acid and sodium bicarbonate (vinegar & bi-carb) with red food dye in her kitchen at ten years old and extends through to her fourth year working in a synthetic chemistry laboratory, undertaking research as a current PhD candidate.

Sessional academic experience includes practical demonstration for five undergraduate chemistry units.

Tayla has a particular passion for supporting and encouraging the advancement of women in chemistry and welcomes opportunities for collaboration.
