ProfessorSuzanne Robinson

Professor Suzanne Robinson is Chair and Director of Deakin Health Economics. She has been involved in leading health systems and health economics projects that have had a major impact on government reform initiatives. Her research focuses on exploring the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of health systems and services. She is particularly interested in understanding the impact of health professionals, public, and patient preferences on decision-making processes within these systems.

Suzanne conducts research that examines how various factors, such as resource allocation, funding mechanisms, and policy interventions, influence the delivery and outcomes of healthcare services. Suzanne has secured competitive grants from national and international funding agencies, highlighting the significance and impact of her research in the field. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in supervising and mentoring numerous PhD students, guiding them to the successful completion of their studies.

In Australia, she has been successful in a number of industry-driven partnerships, these collaborations are aimed at undertaking
