BIO

Dr Cecilia Wei Hu joined the Department of Accounting at Deakin University in July 2022 after receiving her PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Cecilia's primary research interests include financial reporting in M&A and mutual funds. 

 

Prior to her academic career, Cecilia gained nearly a decade of professional experience in the mutual fund industry. She is a member of both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
