A/Prof Bernard Shiu recently published The General Practice Playbook, a practical guide to successfully running a general practice in Australia. It is rapidly becoming recognised as an essential manual—or even “the bible”—for current and aspiring medical practice owners.

Outside medicine, Bernard is a keen musician and has performed with the Australian Doctors Orchestra and the Geelong Symphony Orchestra. He also enjoys cycling and can often be found riding around the Bellarine Peninsula.
