BIO

Dr Pam Pilkington is a clinical psychologist, senior research fellow, board approved supervisor, Advanced Schema Therapist/Supervisor, and accredited EMDR practitioner. She has more than 15 years' research experience, with previous positions at the Centre for Mental Health Research at the Australian National University, the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne, and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. She currently works in the School of Behavioural and Health Sciences at the Australian Catholic University and the School of Psychology at Deakin University. 

 

Dr Pilkington's research interests include schema therapy, intimate partner violence, partner relationships, adverse childhood experiences, and attachment. She is currently the trial coordinator for the Relationship RESET randomised controlled trial, which is evaluating the effectiveness of an online relationship program with couples facing challenges related to alcohol and drug use.
