RESEARCH INTERESTS

As mentioned in my bio, my current research focuses on designing a potential cancer model for blood cancer/ Leukemia. To do this I will be using CRISPR/Cas gene editing technique on zebrafish to create mutations that result in leukemic conditions. The advantage of my research is that I will be mimicking human mutations on zebrafish which would allow us to get a comprehensive idea of the underlying mechanisms involved in causing blood cancers.
