BIO
Thinh Huynh is an enthusiastic researcher in the field of Education with a strong academic foundation and professional experience. He holds a Bachelor of Teaching from Saigon University, Vietnam, and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from La Trobe University, Australia. Currently, Thinh is pursuing a doctoral degree at the School of Education, Deakin University, where his research focuses on Vietnamese international students’ engagement in blended learning within the Australian higher education context. Thinh has developed expertise in higher education, international education, digital education, blended learning, student engagement, and student agency. In addition to his doctoral research, he has contributed as a Research Assistant to several significant projects. These include the New Colombo Plan Project, titled “Australian students’ learning in and engagement with the Indo-Pacific”, funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC), and the Australia Awards Fellowship project on “Vietnam-Australia partnerships for digital transformation in higher education”. Through his research and project involvement, Thinh aims to enrich the academic community and to make a meaningful impact on the higher education sector, the international student cohort, and the wider community.
