BIO

Laura's doctoral research aims to characterise and support long-term mental health outcomes in families of children treated neonatally for congenital anomalies, in a collaboration with the Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up program at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.

At Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI), Laura is supporting the development of a lived experience research network (GMA-LERN) in a partnership between MCRI and Growing Minds Australia (GMA), a national clinical trials network for child and youth mental health research.

As HDR Student Representative on the GMA Early- and Mid-Career Research Network leadership team, Laura works with a multidisciplinary team to promote an inclusive and diverse research community that celebrates and empowers the next generation of researchers in the child and youth mental health research space.

As Student Ambassador for the Aston-Deakin Cotutelle PhD Program, Laura supports doctoral students in a growing international network for child health and development research.
