BIO

I’m a materials researcher passionate about transforming materials into real-world solutions. With a strong foundation in chemistry, I’m currently pursuing my PhD at Deakin University’s Institute for Frontier Materials, where I develop novel silk-based membranes for dental restoration aiming to advance healthcare outcomes through innovative biomaterials.

As the 2025 Deakin University 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) finalist, I’ve had the opportunity to share my research with diverse audiences, strengthening my passion for science communication and bridging the gap between science and society. I actively mentored high school students through the In2science program and proudly served as a STEM Sisters ambassador, championing women of colour in STEM.
