BIO

I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition, Deakin University, with a background in nutrition and dietetics. My research focuses on understanding the associations between early-life nutrition, lifestyle patterns and cardiovascular health among children, with a particular interest in identifying factors that may contribute to the early development of cardiovascular risk. Through my PhD research, expertise has been developed in nutritional epidemiology, dietary and lifestyle assessment, longitudinal cohort data analysis and biostatistics, with experience gained in working with large-scale observational datasets and applying advanced statistical methods to investigate complex relationships between nutritional, behavioural and health-related factors. My research interests broadly include child and maternal health, infant feeding, lifestyle behaviours, cardiovascular health and the early prevention of chronic disease. Alongside my research experience, a professional background in nutrition and dietetics has provided a strong foundation for translating research evidence into practical approaches to improve health and wellbeing.
