BIO

My current research focuses on educational leadership and its intersection with digital technology and risk management.

Formerly, I was a teacher and school principal of an International K-12 school in Khartoum, Sudan for 11 years. I completed an MA in International and Multicultural Education and Development from Ahfad University for Women (AUW) in 2015. My masters’ research focused on causes of low academic achievement in basic education.

I pursued further graduate studies in teaching methodology before joining an International American K-12 school in Egypt as Academic Principal where I developed their virtual school model in response to COVID-19. Being a certified project manager, I was part of the leadership team that managed a successful international accreditation project during the pandemic.

I am also multilingual (Arabic, English, Spanish and French).
