BIO
Tewodros Yosef is a PhD candidate at Deakin University and an epidemiologist with extensive experience in research, teaching, and academic leadership. His research focuses on the epidemiology, risk factors, prediction, and quality-of-life impacts of falls and fall-related injuries among older adults, to inform targeted prevention strategies, improve health outcomes, and support healthy ageing policies. Currently completing a PhD in Falls, Injury Epidemiology and Healthy Ageing, he has authored or co-authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications indexed in Scopus, PubMed, and Web of Science. His expertise includes geriatric epidemiology, injury prevention, healthy ageing, longitudinal and survival analysis, and evidence synthesis. He is recognised for his research excellence, collaborative leadership, and commitment to mentoring emerging researchers.
