DrAdriano Tedde

I am a Lecturer in Strategic and American Studies with the Centre for Future Defence and National Security.

I completed a PhD in American Studies with Griffith University (2019) and a MA
in Foreign Affairs from the Institute of International Political Studies
(ISPI) of Milan, Italy (2004). Before joining Deakin, I taught Comparative
Politics, Foreign Politics, Italian Constitutional Law, Communication and
Humanities courses with different Australian universities. I was a fellow
visiting scholar at the Center for American Studies of Columbia University in
2017.

I worked as a career diplomat for twelve years.

My current research project is an intellectual historyof the social and cultural

effects of neoliberal politics.
