I am interested in how marine animals are affected by the environment, and how they in turn affect the environment around them. Additionally, I am interested in the capacity for hybridisation to provide species with the ability to better adapt to their environment, and ways to futureproof aquaculture to safeguard food security. My work thus far far has focused on the effects of temperature, carbon dioxide, water chemistry and diet on the physiology and behaviour of a variety of organisms including fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
